There are two fulfillment centers in New Jersey, with one in Robbinsville and the other in Avenel. The New Jersey Department of the Treasury Division of Taxation considers a seller to have sales tax nexus in New Jersey if they utilize a fulfillment service in that state. Long story short, that means FBA sellers who have goods stored in one of the New Jersey fulfillment centers have to collect sales tax on items shipped to addresses in New Jersey.
