Email contact info for every state’s sales tax department
by
August 9, 2023Please note: This blog was originally published in 2017. It’s since been updated for accuracy and comprehensiveness.
We’re asked often enough by our customers for state email addresses that we decided to put together this resource.
Important to note: Though every state is different, don’t expect a quick response to your sales tax questions from these email addresses. If you need a quick answer from a state, we recommend a phone call. Here’s a list of phone numbers and menu options that will allow you to speak with a sales tax person in each state as quickly as possible.
(We’re also not in the business of helping spammers email the states. The email addresses below have been obfuscated behind the scenes to prevent email-harvesting robots from scraping them.)
Arizona – No valid email address found.
California – California Department of Tax Fee Administration contact form (this department was formerly the California Board of Equalization)
