Is shipping taxable in Louisiana?

Effective January 1st 2025, Louisiana generally taxes shipping as part of sales price of a transaction, even when separately stated. Read more from the state here. If the shipped item is an exempt or nontaxable product or service, then shipping is not taxable.

Handling Louisiana shipping and handling sales tax with TaxJar
